Gareth Evans and Sue Peel volunteered to take on the role of Club Safeguarding Officers in 2024. We keep up to date through receiving Bowls England information and by attending local Safeguarding meetings and workshops. We are both DBS checked.
Safeguarding is about creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone involved, from young players to adult bowlers. It’s about taking proactive steps to prevent and address any kind of harm or abuse.
We follow the Bowl’s Development Alliance’s Safeguarding Policies.
