Hemingford Bowls Club welcomes new members, whether new to bowling, returners or transfers from other clubs.
For new to bowling, the club offers free membership for the first season.
Coaching/improving sessions are held each Tuesday evening from 6 pm unless a club match is being played. This is an open evening for any member to attend. More experienced players will be on hand to help newer members with techniques, skills, rules etc.
The Friday morning (9.45 am-12) and Saturday afternoon (2-4 pm) roll ups are also very useful for new members to learn the game, develop skills and socialise with members.

ROLL-UPS
“Roll-ups” are, in effect, an opportunity to practice either by yourself, or with a fellow member or group of members.
FRIENDLY MATCHES
During the season, the Club takes part in friendly matches against other Clubs. New members are encouraged and very welcome to play in these enjoyable games. The friendlies are a great way to meet other bowlers and provide an opportunity to experience bowling on different greens. They offer an entertaining afternoon out in good company and are a lot of fun.
LADIES/MEN
The Ladies and Men’s Sections are a major part of the club. The Club is well respected throughout the county, and is home to representatives at all levels, right up to National. It has an impressive record of County and National Title achievement, and through our new members we look forward to maintaining this heritage in the future. There are a variety of competitions one can enter, including novice competitions. It also has dedicated Ladies, Men’s and Mixed Leagues.
